Wander with me

My late afternoon wanders find me enjoying the arrival of December snow that carpets the meadow where I love this ever changing view from my meditation rock. New Moon blessings as the light diminishes earlier each day.

Signs of colder days arriving as the pond's edge begins to freeze. Fallen leaves trapped  beneath the surface with tiny snowflakes scattered across the forming ice.  Blessings on this full moon in Gemini where I'll be wandering soon in a Vermont winter wonderland.

Wandering the other day along the woodland path behind my cottage I came upon this beautiful birch with a piercing eye that portrayed it's visionary wisdom. A moment of deep gratitude to recognize the gifts that trees have to offer if only we would see. May hope guide us into a future filled with loving kindness for all.  

During this Blue Moon I'm feeling like I need to send a lot of love out into the world and these heart shaped leaves hopefully are doing just that. Fortunately the sky cleared so I was able to catch a photo of the full moon rising above the ridge line and a lone coyote's serenade was an extra special gift for the evening as well.  

It was wonderful to remember the inspiration I received when I took this photo and began to create my rainbow bridge sculpture. May these birds of freedom  bring love and peace to us all as we take flight into the unknown. Blessings on this New Moon in Libra.
